Meet the Storm Chasers
Jason Weingart (Co-Owner/Forecaster) is a storm chaser with 10 years of experience, he is one of the most well known and renowned storm photographers in the world. Jason grew fascinated by severe weather at a young age, when a TV meteorologist visited his 3rd grade classroom and showed them tornado footage of the May 3, 1999 Moore, Oklahoma tornado.
His weather photography has been featured by National Geographic, Time Magazine, BBC, The Weather Channel, and many other media outlets.
Savannah Weingart (Co-Owner/Driver) has been chasing severe weather for a dozen years. She has seen a tornado every year since 2011 witnessing over 60 tornadoes in her lifetime. Her photography and videography has been featured by The Weather Channel, ABC World News, NBC Nightly News, Getty Images, and many other media outlets.
Matt Phelps
(Director/Driver) Storm chaser with 13 years of experience and has witnessed more than 150 twisters. His interest in tornadoes started at a young age when his dad taught him about weather and storm chasing. He began driving each spring for tornado tour companies in 2013.
He witnessed his first tornadoes in 2010 and has seen at least one each year since. His close range footage of the Lockett, Texas tornado (pictured) was featured pretty much everywhere.
Jimmie Bryan
(Driver) Professional driver with 11 years of experience driving passenger vans full time in adverse weather conditions including severe storms, gale force winds, and blizzards.
He has professionally driven over one million miles with zero safety incidents. He been photographing severe weather for five years.
