We will have a mostly illuminated moon during our workshop. This is a good thing as it will help light our foregrounds. It will set progressively later each night through the last week of April as the full moon falls on April 29. If you want to get Milky Way images, I suggest closer to April 22-26, as you will have a setting moon to your west and a rising Milky Way to your east. This is pretty much ideal for astrophotography landscapes with the canyons and rock formations we will utilize for our foregrounds. We can shoot the Milky Way until April 27, but it will require progressively later shoots. After the 27th, the moon will be in front of the Milky Way and will wash it out.

Jason will teach you everything you need to know, from planning your shoots, to successfully capturing your images, and how to bring the images to life with post processing software.
