Four day/night photography workshop with potential miscellaneous shoots (stars, wildflowers, weather) and daily practice photographing the sun leading up to the eclipse.
Includes transportation and a solar lens filter to photograph the sun.
Don't risk capturing images of this once in a lifetime event. Join photographer Jason Weingart on a four-day photographic workshop which will help you prepare for and photograph the total solar eclipse.
Jason has experience photographing these events, including multiple partial eclipses and the 2017 total solar eclipse. His experience will help give you the best chance of photographing the last total eclipse visible from the US until 2045.
This workshop will be handled much like our storm chase tours. We will choose three targets along the path of totality and photograph the eclipse from the one with the best forecast to ensure you don’t miss totality.
We will practice photographing the sun each day leading up to the eclipse. We will also work in various other types of photography. This time of year is peak season for Texas Bluebonnets, a great time to photograph the night sky, and there is even the possibility of some weather to work in.
The total cost for the event is $1999. Included in the price is transportation for all four days from and returning to DFW International Airport and a solar lens filter, needed for photographing the sun when it isn’t in totality.
